We’ll be missing out because we don’t arrive until the other end of the month, but if you’re in NY in early July, you should go and see my good friend Kerry Ann Lee speaking at two upcoming forums (3rd and 8th July respectively) at the Asian American Arts Center (26 Bowery, 3rd Floor, NYC). She is certified awesome and always has smart things to say.

House guest

Danced to this with Kerry, late one night / early one morning in Wellington, a couple of months ago – one of the highlights of a slightly patchy appearance by DJ Vadim. Danced some more, then went for 4am falafels and back to K’s for sleep.

This weekend she was in my town, making plans for a trip to (where else) NY. We won’t overlap, she gets home just before I leave, but I’m sure our stories will intersect somehow.
